A Difficult Scene...

 Another day to get my senses into Chapter 4... of  my current WIP, The Alma Essie Story. 

Two generations come together, and a third is conceived. A chapter about two women and the event that makes them realise they are connected in so many ways. They have to learn to see through there own pain and remember who they are, why they're here, and the many reasons they love one another. 

Scenes can be difficult, especially when something bad happens. But without certain events, the story would not progress, or come together. 

With this particular scene, which I confess has been challenging, I hope I've written it with a sensitivity that does the characters and a repulsive event, justice, because this happens all over the world, and maims its victims, and the families of those involved. 

Regardless of the Word-Count, Its a beautiful day... Enjoy

The Alma Essie Story...

 A Beautiful Day, and its Raining. 

My thoughts are all over my WIP... This current chapter I'm writing feels like its never going to dry up... Isabelle is an interesting character, but Alma is right up there beside her, still, they have so much history to present. With Shay, and a lifetime of knowing between them, it won't stop their worlds exploding when the truth unfolds.

It's Been Some Time...

I'm back... and it feels great to be here. 

I really can't believe how long it's been since I last posted, but I've been really busy with my writing journey, on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Also, I'm writing a novel, which I regularly share excerpts, and ideas from. Plus, for me, the pandemic's slowed things down so much...  I've got a new puppy called Frankie, he's a Cavashon, and the family have grown... I'll post a few things later, that I'm working on, and hopefully, I'll manage to catch up with anyone who is still around to follow... 

I sincerely hope the world is treating you all well, and things are all good.
